Spring whitefish fishing summary
« on: May 28, 2020, 12:57:24 pm »
With work not requiring my services for the last while Inhave been able to get more fishing in this spring than I ever have before for first soft water fishing.

Was able to get fish each time out and enjoyed watching my kids and cousin bring up some beauties. Always special when you get to see glassy water and morning skies from the boat and this year provided many mornings that were off the charts spectacular. Always first boat on the lake and you will see why itís worth it. Flies were bad, fishing was awesome and with water temps spiking last few itís off to a new species when I can get back out. All fish were found in my winter spots on shoals with the last day requiring me to go to 71í to find them.

Also, came back one day and with water so clear I saw for the first time what people talk about when big perch school up. 5/5 casts brought in some of the biggest perch Iíd ever seen and made for a great snack!!!

Bit of a break now but salmon are calling my name on lake O!

Don't want to ruin a good thread, but you guys are in for a rude awakening when you do get back to the gym. My son was telling me today that his gym has new rules because of Covid...No showers, no pools, every 1/2 hour everyone has to quit and stand to a wall while the staff clean all the machines and workout mats....

His words......AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

Nice outing by the way.....Jonnyboy
