Jan 18. Cooks Bay Jumbo Perch Fishn...
« on: January 22, 2020, 07:36:39 am »
With a snowstorm and high winds creating whiteout conditions I pushed my smitty out over some deeper water in search of some jumbo perch.  First spot wasnít a big producer and after a couple hours I made the tough decision to pack up in the blizzard like conditions and move.  Turned out to be the right decision as I got into some nice jumbo perch.

Enjoy the vid!

Thanks for watching!

Thanks Tim!  I really appreciate the positive feedback.  Hoping to do more live mic recording while fishing.  Would like to share a lot more of what Iím thinking and figuring out pattern wise during each Fishn adventure.

I didnít put a measure on any of the fish, but there didnít appear to be any 14ís in the bucket.  Def. a 13Ē or two though. Lol.  This year it is all about finding 15Ē fish.  Especially after the ridiculous amount of 14Ē+ hens I iced last year.

Thanks for posting this video Brad.
I'm not a big fan of youtube fishing videos, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching this one.
Keep'm coming.

Brad,  I thought that was a legit video !   It captured the reality of ice fishing Simcoe.   Well done.  And the fishing was quality that day too.   I really enjoyed the angle being able to see them coming up the last few feet of water towards the camera, and being slid onto the ice.   The bonus footage was clearly the underwater action, as they bounced off the ice layer and made their path thru the hole.  I felt like I was fishing.  Thanks for that !

Thanks guys!

Glad the smitty isnít needed anymore.  Recovering from the flu bug and pushing all that gear was not a good combo... lol
