A beauty day on the water
« on: June 04, 2017, 11:43:40 am »
Found ourselves with no charters yesterday so it gave us a chance to go and so some fishing ourselves.

The carp spawn shut down, but the high sun helped us shoot a few. It's always a challenge to get the 25+ pounders in the boat.

We threw spoons out to troll to and from our shooting location and picked up a couple pike.

Tried shore fishing for carp after dark, with no takers. Still a wee bit cold for them to make an appearance at our dock.
