2020-07-31 lake Erie

Four of us hit lake Erie on Thursday. The night before, as I was tying a few leaders I realized that I left my boat keys in the car which was in the shop.  I called my buddy to let him know that we weren't getting an early start. We got our lines down by 12 pm. First fish was a bow, I wish I had video, I never seen a fish jump like this, it was like a torpedo, it must have jumped 6ft +.  Following that we had several knock offs, lost a few, then it got quiet for a "short" while.  We were running 2 riggers and 2 dipsy's. The dipsy's took the bulk of everything, as did spoons. For the first two hours almost everything hit one spoon. I thought we were going to be in trouble when it broke off. But, we got things dialed in, had a quadruple header, several double headers and by 5pm had 4 limits.

May I ask where you launched your boat?

Awesome! Erie is a walleye factory!
I've spent most of my life fishing.  The rest I've wasted.
