The Perch Palace is located midway between Keswick and Jackson's Point on Lake Simcoe's southeast shore directly across from Snake Island. We provide accommodation, transportation, live bait, and ice hut rentals for Lake Simcoe anglers.Our 2010 ice hut rental rate is $40 per person per day (children under 16 half price) including transportation to our propane heated huts and bait. We have 6 man, 4 man, and 2 man huts available for rent. Our perch / pike huts are in 15 to 25 feet of water off the east points of Snake Island. Along with the emerald shiner minnows that are supplied for bait, recommended artificials include #3 and #5 jigging rapalas, small swedish pimples, small tube jigs, and small tear drops. Our Whitefish / lake trout huts are in 80 feet of water off the western shore off Snake Island. Along with the emerald shiner minnows that are supplied for bait, recommended artificials include #5 and #7 jigging rapalas, #3 and #5 Williams ice jigs, and medium to large tube jigs.
